New stars of pop art storm the Tate
Updated on 30 September 2009
Art that shocks, amuses and sells - Warhol, Koons, Hirst and Murakami are together at last at the Tate Modern's new exhibition. Nicholas Glass reports from Pop Life.

Yearning for celebrity status, money and success, and happy to shock if that furthers their goals: the portrait of the artist on display at Tate Modern's latest exhibition in London.
The exhibition, Pop Life, shows Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and others following in Andy Warhol's footsteps, pursuing modernity on their own terms and making a good living out of it.
The original title of the show was Sold Out, but one of its featured artists insisted this was changed.
