Is beauty a question of geometry? More4 News examines the renaissance rules for an alluring face.

It may most often lie in the eye of the beholder but what constitutes beauty is surprisingly consistent. Even across the centuries.

According to Renaissance artists there were equations that defined who was worthy of being committed to canvas.

Now their rules have been proved to have stood the test of time. A study out today has found that you're more likely to be drawn to the person with what Leonardo would have regarded as the perfectly proportioned face.
