Anne Hathaway is not dreaming of a white wedding despite starring in two marriage-themed movies.

In Rachel Getting Married she played the troubled younger sister of a bride at a society wedding.

And in new comedy Bride Wars she and Kate Hudson play lifelong friends who end up locked in a bitter duel when they book their nuptials on the same date.

Asked if she shared her character's obsession with staging the perfect big day, Hathaway said: "I'm not going to lie - I've never really fantasised about it.

"I figure, when I find the right person, if I ever find the right person, we'll know what kind of party we want to have and we'll just throw a great one.

"But I'm not one of those girls."
