30 Rock leads Emmy nominations
Updated on 16 July 2009
Hit US TV show 30 Rock is leading the field for this year's Emmy Awards, after scooping 22 nominations.
There's also plenty for the Brits to celebrate, with Hugh Laurie and Kenneth Branagh both getting the nod in high-profile categories.
The BBC's Little Dorrit heads the British charge, with the drama nominated in 11 categories. Laurie and Branagh are both up for Lead Actor titles, along with Sir Ian McKellen.
The nominations for NBC's 30 Rock include Best TV Comedy and Best Actress for one of its stars Tina Fey, who walked off with the acting Emmy in 2007.
Mad Men, on cable channel AMC, picks up 16 nominations, including Best Drama. Both shows won the Emmy in those categories last year.
The 61st Primetime Emmys will be handed out in Los Angeles on September 20.
