Phorm confronts critics who say its system for selling people's browsing habits to advertisers is a serious breach of privacy.

Earlier this month we reported on how BT had admitted effectively spying on 108,000 of its broadband internet customers, by running a trial of a new advertising system made by a company called Phorm.

The controversy hasn't died away. Activists are still concerned that the system represents a serious breach of their privacy.

Last night Phorm confronted its critics at a public event in London.
