How gang culture affects communities

Darshna Soni speaks to the local community in Croxteth about the impact of gang culture on their lives.

The area of Liverpool where the shooting of 11-year-old Rhys Jones happened has a long history of gang feuds, with the so-called Croxteth Crew challenging youngsters in nearby Norris Green.

A report earlier this year identified the city as the easiest place in Britain to buy an illegal gun, along with neighbouring Manchester.

In our report, we speak to people in Croxteth about the impact of gang culture on their lives.
