By Channel 4 News

Britain's finest university museum reopens in Oxford with an exhibition celebrating the connections between the world's most diverse cultures.

Behind its Victorian façade, the Ashmolean museum has been transformed with a £61m revamp to reflect the modern world.

In the new exhibition - Crossing Cultures, Crossing Times - the Oxford centre has done away with traditional ways of displaying art.

Instead, the items are arranged organically to emphasise the connections and flows between cultures throughout history, and across the world.
