Tweet or Dare: the highlights
Updated on 08 October 2009
During the Labour and Conservative party conferences MPs were challenged to answer your questions in a quick-fire test. But which party reined in the Twitter-box?

The party conference season is drawing to a close and during the Labour and Conservative weeks Channel 4 News has been running 'Tweet or Dare.'
The challenge? MPs have to answer viewers questions - posted on the website via twitter - in less than 20 seconds.
In total 12 MPs sat in our specially constructed "Twitter-box" and answered a series of quickfire questions before the buzzer sounded.
Labour MP Peter Hain told the Twitter-box that his party wanted to "stay in power to protect Britain," adding that he believed Labour could win the next election. "I think we have got a proud history and we need to fight on that," he said.

On the prospect of Tony Blair as president of Europe, Conservative MEP Daniel Hannan said: "I think it would be a bit odd if just after David Cameron had been elected prime minister we got a Labour president who was more senior than him, courtesy of Europe, and that's one of the many reasons we need a referendum [on the Lisbon Treaty].
