Biography

Simon is home affairs correspondent for Channel 4 News. His wide brief includes terrorism, crime, prisons, asylum and immigration, race and legal affairs.

He has reported extensively on such matters as the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry, the Victoria Climbie Inquiry, detention without trial, Guantanamo, suicides in prisons, the nation's drug problems, gun crime, government policies on immigration and asylum and, more recently, on the war on terrorism in the UK and Europe.

He joined Channel 4 News in 1995 and has since won a number of awards for his original, investigative and often exclusive reports.
