Arts correspondent Nicholas Glass has been with Channel 4 News for 16 years.

His patch includes all the arts: film, art, architecture, archaeology, music, literature and cultural trends.

His interviews include: film directors Martin Scorcese, Ang Lee, Ridley Scott and Sam Mendes; artists David Hockney, Frank Auerbach, Damien Hirst, Rachel Whiteread and Tracey Emin; sculptors Antony Gormley and Sir Anthony Caro; poet Seamus Heaney; actor-turned-artist Dennis Hopper; writer JK Rowling; musician Paul McCartney; actors Tom Cruise, and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan; conductor/pianist Daniel Barenboim; and photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.

The Royal Television Society made him specialist correspondent of the year in 2000.
