Rihanna has 'stormed' the charts with her 'Umbrella' this week and is 'reigning' at the top (sorry), but what else have the summer showers washed in this week...

Infernal 'I Won't Be Crying' (Europa Records)
Oh no. We managed to get through the pop car-crash of the Eurovision relatively unscathed and then this comes along. This appropriately named Danish group, led by roaring vocalist Lina, have released the strident 'I Won't Be Crying' for our delectation and delight, and it's distinctly unlovely. We know the lyrics may be a little lost in translation, so we'll refrain from rising to the bait of words such as "It's this pointlessness that's got me loving less" and "Why don't you knock it off?", accompanied by angry Roxette-era guitars. But, to quote Simon Cowell, "It's a no."
