Do any of the young pretenders below have what it takes to smite the mighty Sugababes and steal their singles chart crown this week?
Take That 'Rule The World' (Polydor)
This plays over the end of new film 'Stardust', which we've actually seen (it takes a lot to get us to go to the cinema - all that fidgeting, whispering and hotdog eating makes us want to kill again). Take That don't appear in the movie - which is essentially Hollywood staging a multi million-dollar pantomime - but if you're the sort of person who sits around reading the credits to find out who the second unit camerman was then you'll find that this specially-written number is a power-pop epic which manages to invoke the spirit of both the Bee Gees and a-ha and is the best thing they've done since 'Patience'.
