Out This Week

03/09/2007

So 'Big Brother' is over for another year and you suddenly have an extra eight hours in your week. Why not make a start at filling this new expanse of free time by perusing this week's offering of singles...

Rooney 'When Did Your Heart Go Missing?' (Geffen)
Californian dream-poppers Rooney have quickly understood the way to get to the top of this week's singles pile: by sending us enormous amounts of heart-shaped chocolates. But even without the confectionary, 'When Did Your Heart…' would be a firm favourite as it's a passionate, charming and clever rush of eighties-tinged guitar pop which we can imagine Molly Ringwald dancing to in a John Hughes movie. Our hearts have melted.
