T4's very own Steve Jones paid a visit to the Musicool house over Easter to see what the guys got up to behind closed doors. He also managed to find some interesting reading material under one of their mattresses...

Abi Ryan is a 20-year-old singer from Seaford, East Sussex. Abi has supported Lemar, Ronan Keating and Natasha Hamilton and cites her influences as Madonna, Mariah Carey and Missy Elliot. All the 'M's, then. She would also like to sing a duet with Eminem so if you're out there Em - get in touch!

Brixton's own Mr Midas really knows his musical stuff, having studied sound engineering at college and has even opened shows for De La Soul! Mr Midas loves musical experimentation and said he'd like to work with Marilyn Manson one day.

Heavy metal howler William Atkinson used to be the frontman of rock group Elysium Flower before they split. William's true passion is for death metal and when he's not screeching, he works on a farm breeding crickets and creepy crawlies.

Haverhill resident Darren Michelangelo Smith started his musical career a few years ago when, bored with his local DJ's taste, he and a friend set up a regular ska/reggae night. Darren loves Joe Strummer and The Specials and even has a trumpeteer to accompany him at his gigs.

Northern R 'n' B siren Annika Gabbitas describes herself as the "R 'n' B Arctic Monkeys" and hates it "when UK singers sing in an American accent". Annika used to be in a girl band but has shunned that in favour of going solo. And appearing on Musicool of course!

24-year-old Fe Salomon is the front lady of rock group Eyelash, a band she formed three years ago. Before Eyealash came into her life, Fe sang jazz and soul numbers, moved to LA to play with a funk/reggae act and even performed in an all girl punk band 'Friction'. Blimey!

Esther Barton is a music student who sings with punk trio Axe Girl. Esther, who also used to be in a band called Kicktin, is very creative and even designs and makes Axe Girl bandges and T-shirts which are so popular with fans that Esther sells them in a shop in Bristol.

Cleopatra Humphrey aka Mz Bratt is a teenage college student from Hainault and grime MC in her spare time. Mz Bratt has been in the business for four whole years now and has worked with top notch hip hop producers Terror Danger and Bruiser.
R 'n' B singer Chris Royle has been singing ever since he won a talent contest on holiday aged 10. Chris - now 18 - also works in music projects aimed at helping underprivileged children in his native Manchester.
Nick Barrett aka Soulstar caused a sensation in Italy aged 15 when his band's single went to number one in their dance charts. Since reaching those heady heights, Nick has worked as a salesperson and performed alongside Peter Andre and Girls Aloud at a BBC Great North Run.
