WELCOME TO DUBPLATE DRAMA

The cast of Dubplate Drama are an interesting bunch. So interesting in fact that they said all these funny things.

But first, here's a rap from Hoodman, aka Warren, that he made up right on the spot about Dubplates...

"Yo I'm spitting straight from the throat, Dubplate's the best because you can vote. There ain't no other progranme where you can do that. So if you don't watch Dubplates then you are whack."

Exactly. And what's the most embarrassing thing you've got on your iPod, Hoodman?

"Maybe a bit of country & western - what me grandma used to listen to or somethin' like that. But I don't usually let anyone know about that. That's our secret!"

Shh. Let's ask the others some questions...

Shystie, can you tell us all about the exciting things happening in the second series of Dubplates please?

"So much exciting stuff. We've got a gentleman called David Icke on. We've got loads of people but they're just not coming to mind now! There's a lot of people from the underground scene. We've got Roger Griffiths, he plays D-Brain, he's a really good actor. But watch it and find out!"

Hello N Dubz, can you tell us about your characters please?

Dappy aka Sleazy...
"In the show, I play a part called Sleazy and I participate in the crew. I'm the mad little devil y'know. The one that's just running around and getting in trouble and doing the comedy bits. Tulisa on the other hand..."

Tulisa aka Laurissa...
"I'm a lot more serious and emotional. I'm the emotional baby-mother. The whole time filming, I was holding onions under my eyes. In tears for the whole programme."

Fazer aka Flames...
"I play a guy called Flames. I own my own radio station and I say what goes on in this place you know. If your records aren't doing it, you're not on the station."

"Straight up."

Adam Deacon, you play Bones. Can you tell us who would be your dream guest star on Dubplates?

"Obviously I'm feeling Kano and what Dizzee and Sway are doing. There's just so much UK talent in the acting world and you know in the music world and there seems to be a lot of eyes on the UK now so I'm just hoping that it works."

TJ aka Minus, you're an actor but have you picked up any MC skills from watching the others?

"I'm not an MC but in the series I do MC. So when you do watch it, judge me lightly! I can act like an MC but I am not an MC, I'll leave that to the rappers. I do make a fool out of myself by MCing in the show so keep an eye out!"

Finally, Simon Webbe, can you tell us why Dubplates is so important...

"It's a start of what's to come and hopefully you know these kids will be the role models. Instead of people saying 50 Cent's my role model, they'll say N Dubz are my role models. Everyone here is trying to do something positive and that's the main thing."
