What do you wish you'd known when you were starting out?
I wish I'd known I wouldn't be able to get home in time to watch 'Neighbours' after work any more! And that it's vital to stick to your vision and not let the bastards get you down.
Did you ever consider packing it all in?
I haven't considered packing it all in yet '- I'm only just starting out! But if I did I'd probably take a holiday, live in a lighthouse, buy a cat and chill out for a while. It's all about balancing everything so you can still live some semblance of a normal life and not turn into an insane person.
If you weren't a proper pop star, what would you be doing now?
I would probably be travelling all over the world with a troupe of gorgeous drag queen ballet dancers, taking the karaoke circuit by storm and wearing the most outrageous glitzy costumes whilst body-popping. Or I'd just have ten babies and bake cakes all day.
Can you explain how you celebrated on the day you got signed?
I celebrated by flying to the moon in my mind - with the help of some whisky - and dancing my pants off with friends.
Who would be your dream support act?
Probably be a band called Moon And Moon from New York; they are doing their own beautiful and darkly theatrical thing. (and the lead singer is really hot! Haha!). I have already been supported be Ginger Lee (who plays in the band) and solo, she's a real dreamboat!
What's the best advice you've ever been given?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained – don't play safe because it gets you nowhere.
