I'm based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire-the home of Embrace, Johnnie Casson and a world-famous brass band.

I write and perform songs, I write the music but not the lyrics. I'm a keyboard player but there's lots of guitar-driven tracks. You may find similarities to Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, Elton John, Billy Joel, Crowded House and James Blunt. Everyone says I sound like Bryan(not Ryan)Adams-which is funny because I've never touched a cigarette. My voice is just pure damage from singing in bands with loud drummers.

I've collaborated with lots of other vocalists before realising I was probably better off singing my songs myself. I've just completed my first album 'Lost In Love Town' which is now available.

I've got a publishing deal and had various other things signed and released-I got a single to #19 in the Independent Label charts last summer. However, the more I see of the traditional music business model, the more I see something that is struggling for life. In my view the internet is well on the way to making major labels extinct. I'm fairly new to the world of websites and uploads but I'm loving it and am finding if you have the drive to succeed, then this is the way to do it.
