The Svengalis formed mid 2006 and have already attracted a lot of attention... their first recordings, although not yet released, were produced by Junk Scientist (Larrikin Love, Rakes, Vincent Vincent...).
In December they featured in session with Steve Lamacq on Radio 1 and made it to Lamacq's top 3 demos of 2006. Add to this a fantastic and rapidly growing fan base and gigs playing with the likes of Jack Penate, Cajun Dance Party, The Enemy and the rest of the capital's emerging talent! They are currently set to release a single in March 2007 on their own label. |
