In January 2007, four guys met up for a simple jam, not knowing that from that first meeting it would forge a band and a friendship of like minded individuals wanting more, who feel that they have unfinished business within music and have something to prove. It has resulted in creating music that means something to them. Currently unsigned and from South Essex. With their own material the band is going to be pushing to make a name for themselves on the circuit. They have been working hard on material and striving for success but mainly recorgnition for their efforts of making music that is not just 'one hit wonders' but that has something deep and thought behind it. With so many influences ranging from so many styles the music is becoming varied and widespread but still gripping. Originally starting off with vocals from Nathan the band has now decided to move along the route of more instrumental tunes so that the normal verse chorus verse chorus style of writing music can be more challenging for themselves. This has resulted in the most current songs "Destroy Something Beautiful" & "Epic (part 1)" both retain elements of a rock background but infusing haunting enigmatic elements of Piano. More songs will be on the way which will include "The Forest" and the second part of "Epic" and others in progress. In August 2008 the Art of Rebellion has had a new member join. Mark Davidson a friend of Ben & Nathan. Already with the introduction of Mark in to the band has helped push our music forward and more song ideas are being pursued.
