Strawbear are a 4 piece band in its infancy. Concieved in June 2004, but finally fully formed in December 2005. We are awash of quirky, rocky pop songs. With smatterings of Folk influences such as Nick Drake, and large dollops of Rock such as Pixies and Big Neil. (Young)..... With a little Talking Heads thrown in to give a slightly rounded robust nature.
Strawbear are really set apart by hugely enjoyable lyrics, some really funny and extrovert ramblings, in turn, balanced by subtle and withdrawn whisperings ... before going back again for some more of the downright ludicrous.
