Artist Biography
A young guitarist, Eliot Thomas Crabtree and an even younger Alfred Charles Vincent have been making music together from a young age in good old hertfordshire. After outgrowing the town they packed their bags for london town. University their excuse, music their ambition. After finding themselves fitting in comfortably in an abandoned pub on the boarder of Bethnal green and Stepney they began recruting their next band members. Bethnal green roads 'the pleasure unit' soon became a local and 'bass playing barman' Nick 'Arry Jones was soon snapped up and moved into the pub. A failed attempt at finding a second guitarist who was playing in another band led them to his drummer Benjamin Whybrow. They stole the drummer, they abandoned the guitarist. The Skallywags were born. They all now live under the same roof, the beloved Prince regent pub which has become practice area and scene of many a messy party, others have joined the gang which is rapidly expanding. After less than a year together they have started to make a name for themselves in the east end and further a field. All finding themselves with similar interests in garage rock, punk, new wave and ska collectively influenced by the likes of the specials, the undertones , clash etc. No glow sticks...just loads of blood and sweat. just like it used to be.

"Worth catching for the Babyshambles-like madness of the band's live sets, they pride themselves on hard-hitting lyrics and stuttering ska basslines." (NME)
