Clinker is a London, UK based band formed by Peter Jordan in 1999. Originally all recorded by Peter himself, its gradually turned into the current form of Peter Jordan (vocals, guitar), Tomoko Matsumoto (backing vocals, keyboard & guitar) and Marco Monaco(drums). They are deeply influenced by The Beatles, PiL, My Bloody Valentine, Massive Attack and Eno etc.

They could be seen as a Psychedelic band in the vein of Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd or The Boo Radleys. Through the strong melodies and Peter Jordan's unique songwriting style and lyrics, they attract fans with varied tastes in music.

NEWS:
We released our album "Clinker" for FREE for download to mailing list subscribers on 20th December 2008. To get hold of it, please sign up to our mailing list on ReverbNation (above) (or just let us know your email address and we'll make sure you get one).

The album was finished in January 2008 and was very representive of our live set at the time, plus an extra dollop of Clinker oddness on the side. We were (and still are) very happy with it. By March, we'd lost our bass player (Joe). We spent the rest of this year trying to suitabley replace him, so we could finally be able to make the album widely available and play the songs live regularly.
During this time, we carried on recording and it soon become clear the next album was going to sound quite different. Now we have another new one almost finished which is the next step on for us. So we¿ve decided to give this one ('Clinker') away.
