Clinker is a London, UK based band formed by Peter Jordan in 1999. Originally all recorded by Peter himself, its gradually turned into the current form of Peter Jordan (vocals, guitar), Tomoko Matsumoto (backing vocals, keyboard & guitar), Marcus Moir (drums)and Benedikt Blume (bass, backing vocals). They are deeply influenced by The Beatles, PiL, My Bloody Valentine, Massive Attack and Eno etc.
They could be seen as a Psychedelic band in the vein of Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd or The Boo Radleys. Through the strong melodies and Peter Jordan's unique songwriting style and lyrics, they attract fans with varied tastes in music. Currently they are rehearsing for upcoming gigs and recording new material.
