Bo Pepper is one hot rocking band! Uh-huh! They are quite lazy but when they make music
it is good. Their influences are The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Killers, The Strokes and knitted folk. Band members Dolly, Will E Nailor, Nicky T and Jonny Dangerous have been together for just ten months but already they are more than a bit popular and they look well fit in a certain light. Bo Pepper have created some amazing demos in main songwriter Dolly¿s bedroom and they are ready to shower you with their hotness. One of these demos, "Blinkandyou'llmissit!", recorded for about 10p and seemingly mixed by a deaf child, is currently all over the radio, despite the band still being unsigned.
They have had their track Blinkandyou'llmissit! played repeatedly on: The band's unique puppet-fronted imagery, created by the boys at Pennymix Films, makes them stand out from the crowd. Their videos have notched up over 700,000 hits on the web, making them more famous than Sooty, less so than Orvill. Bo Pepper have so far featured on your tellybox on: Channel 4's Road To V, MTV Flux, MTV Italy, ITV London Tonight and Big Brother's Little Brother (Ch4). Bo Pepper have also appeared THREE TIMES on gossip pal's Perez Hilton's website, www.perezhilton.com, which gets 7 million hits per day. Presswise, Bo Pepper have just won a competition with Q Magazine to play at The Cavern in Liverpool and meet Pete Best, beating thousands of bands in the process! The band are also in this month's Dazed and Confused and will be in October's Clash magazine and Music Week.. Bo Pepper's track, "Buses" recently secured the synch for an online Coca cola advertisement, with across the board exposure from NME to Q magazine. "Buses" has already been featured on the album, "UK:ONE the New Music Collection- Coca-Cola Soundwave", available to purchase via Itunes, where it garnered a front page feature w/c 20.02.07. In fact, XFM DJ Eddy Temple Morris personally handpicked the band to appear. The band are constantly gigging their superhot set around Europe and generally sweating it out onstage at the likes of the Dublin Castle, the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen and The Soho Revue. They have already supported the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Asobi Seksu, and Quad Riot and played a gig for MTV Italy in Florence. Come see ¿em play!!!
