* Ampersand are a studio-based collaboration between song-writer Adam Ritchie and producer Alex Mahdavi *
* Adam hails from London, has nearly 300 gigs under his belt as former guitarist in The Forgotten Sons, a band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in the 1990's and who reached the final of the 1998 LOOT! Music Awards held at the Subterania (now called The Neighbourhood, we understand&) in Ladbroke Grove., London. Since then, Adam has formed an interest in computer-based music, but -..is still a rock'n'roller at heart....' * * Alex is an American who studied music production here in the UK and has since happily settled in London, where he produces a wide-variety of artists and styles at his home studio.. * * They are both currently unsigned and looking for record label/music publishing interest * * Adam and Alex met via e-bay(!), after Alex had advertised for bids for some time in his South London studio.* * Each song was recorded in just two days, with a third day for mixing.
