Sugababes score double number one
15/10/2007
As predicted last week Sugababes dominated the charts yesterday claiming the top spot in both the singles and album charts.
It is the second time in the girls' career they have achieved the feat, the first being in October 2005 on the release of their 'Taller In More Ways' album.
The trio's 'About You Now' held off competition from Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand's 'Let Me Think About It' which stayed at number two in the singles chart while Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse climbed four places to number three with 'Valerie'.
The Hoosiers had the highest new entry with 'Goodbye Mr A' at number five.
In the album chart, Sugababes' 'Change' was a new entry at number one while rock legend Eric Clapton entered the chart at number two with his retrospective 'Complete' knocking Katie Melua down one place to three.
Jack Penate's debut album, 'Matinee', was a new entry at number seven and UB40's Ali Campbell also had a Top Ten new entry, with 'Running Free' at number nine.
