Spice Girls deny reunion friction
12/11/2007
Geri Halliwell has denied reports of a rift among the newly-reunited Spice Girls as "a load of old crap".
Since the reunion was announced earlier this year, rumours of bickering and bitching among the group have been rife, but Geri, Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Emma have strongly refuted them all.
"That's a load of crap. It's almost a joke. It's pathetic and silly that people choose to write silly things," giggled Geri, "It's really comical actually, because we've never gotten on better. It's the biggest laugh ever - it's like hanging around with your best buddies.
"We're just rolling around with laughter the whole time, we lift each other up."
The girls' comeback single, 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' was a new entry at number 20 in the charts yesterday on downloads alone.
