Snoop cuts entourage to stay out of trouble

20/11/2007

Snoop Dogg is reportedly cutting his entourage from 70 people down to 22 in a bid to get into less trouble in 2008 than this year.

According to longtime sidekick Don 'Magic' Juan, Snoop is looking to clean up his act and hang around with "straight" friends so as to avoid repeating the events of a year which saw him banned from the UK and Australia and sentenced to three years' probation for gun and drug charges.

Juan told US magazine Sister 2 Sister, "He needs that support right now," before going on to say that the changes Snoop has made are already paying dividends.

"It's been amazing because it's been a more peaceful thing for the champ."

Thirty-six-year-old Snoop, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., and his entourage were famously arrested after a brawl with police officers at Heathrow airport in April 2006.
