NME show coming to a town near you

Hot new bands The Cribs, Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and the Ting Tings will tour together for 2008's ShockWaves NME Awards Tour.

The annual tour, which has been credited with helping launch Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons and Bloc Party among others, will kick off on January 29 in Belfast before making its way around the country for a month.

You will be able to watch all the action from the awards show when it is shown on Channel 4 in March.
