Madonna wanted kids with Tupac?

A new book about Madonna claims that the 49-year-old singer wanted to have a child with late rapper Tupac Shakur.

Madonna was allegedly romantically interested in the rap star and also had a string of "relationships with unlikely men" because she "desperately wanted children", according to the book, 'Madonna: Like An Idol' by Lucy O'Brien.

O'Brien spoke to 'friends' of Madonna who have been reported as saying that Tupac's friends warned him against getting involved with the megastar.

"She was going out with him but homegirls were saying to him, 'I can't believe you're going out with a white girl - so she got dumped," said Alison Clarkson, Madonna's friend, in the book.
