Kylie Minogue has built her own social networking site so that loyal fans across the globe can keep up to date with her.

The adored Aussie, who releases her Kish Mauve written comeback single '2 Hearts' next Monday, will challenge internet social networking favourites such as Facebook and MySpace with KylieKonnect.com which will give fans the opportunity to chat across the globe as well as interact with Kylie through her own personal profile.

In other news, Kylie's representatives have issued a statement this afternoon stating that Kylie has not cancelled a scheduled 40th birthday tour because a doctor has warned her to rest up as she never confirmed such a tour would be happening and was very well at the moment.

"When asked, Kylie has said on numerous occasions that she loves touring and that she might tour again in the near future. There were and are no dates currently confirmed. If and when dates are confirmed they will be announced in the normal manner," said a spokesperson for Kylie on the singer's site.

"Kylie has not been told by her doctors that touring "could seriously harm her health". She did not give the quotes reported today. And touring is something that she is still considering for the future. Her health remains excellent and she is in the middle of promoting her new single and album."
