Glastonbury seeks unsigned bands
24/10/2007
Glastonbury organizer Emily Eavis is launching a search for unsigned bands to perform at the festival in the future.
Eavis is launching the 'Holy Cow' search tonight at The Social in London with new and unsigned bands invited to play with a view to getting a slot on one of the smaller stages at Glastonbury.
"As a festival, we would really like to lead the way in new music," said Emily.
"The aim is to collect as many new bands as possible throughout the year and build up a strong roster of new acts."
The next Glastonbury festival will take place 27-29 June 2008.
But if Emily Eavis is looking for the best in unsigned and new bands, then perhaps 4unsigned might be a good start...
