Girls Aloud enter the record books

27/09/2007

Girls Aloud have joined the ranks in the Guinness Book of World Records by notching up the most consecutive top ten hits by a girl group in the UK charts.

The girls reached 16 consecutive hits with the release of 'Sexy! No, No, No...', comprehensively beating Destiny's Child's previous record of 11, according to the latest edition to the Guinness record book which is published this week.

Other stars entering the record book include Madonna, who replaces Cher with the highest grossing tour per concert, and The Rolling Stones who beat their own record for the highest-grossing tour in history, with their Bigger Bang tour overtaking 1997-8's Bridges To Babylon.
