Fall Out Boy not going folk
20/11/2007
Fall Out Boy have laid the rumour that they're about to turn into a folk group to rest and assured fans they will be sticking to rock.
The emo giants, whose lead singer Patrick Stump is producing a song for Lupe Fiasco, told MTV that they have no intentions to go for a softer sound.
"There was something that got misconstrued," said Stump.
"Pete was saying something about folk music, and I was saying something about folk music. I don't know if that's really going to be an influence.
"We were kind of thinking about folk music lyrically, and I think a lot of people assumed that meant acoustic guitars, which it doesn't!"
