Happy birthday Channel 4

T4's very own Rick Edwards told 4Music that he was delighted to go to a birthday party for Channel 4 earlier this week and spent the night in awe of the illustrious guests.

The handsome E4 presenter, who presents Freshly Squeezed every morning, told 4Music that he was overjoyed to be in the presence of Countdown stalwart Carol Vorderman but was too shy to say hello.

"I went to the Channel 4 25th birthday party this week and it was brilliant," said Rick to 4Music.

"I was basically in a room with real legends like Carol Vorderman and Jon Snow and there was me just standing at the back!"

"I wanted to say hello to Carol but I didn't think anyone would know who I was and I was too shy to go up to her in the end. But she seems like a lovely woman though."

That she does. But without further ado, 4Music would like to wish Channel 4 a very happy birthday.
