Sophie kept mum about worries

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has said that she was worried her mum would show her up when the two performed together recently.

The singer, who recently revealed that she has forgiven Robbie Williams for calling her a "spoon face", said she thought that mum Janet Ellis would forget the words to the song they sang on TV show 'Just The Two Of Us'.

"I was nervous for her but I was there to cheer her on," said Sophie to the Daily Record.

"I worried something would go wrong, like the microphone wouldn't work or she'd forget the lyrics. But my mum is always singing about the house so I knew she could hold a tune."
