McFly new single revealed!

4Music has had an listen to McFly's 13th single, 'The Heart Never Lies', which had its live debut at V festival recently.

The piano-led ballad, which is a whopping five minutes and 12 seconds long, starts off softly with Tom singing, "Some people laugh, and some people cry. Some people live. And some people die," before he passes the mic to Danny as the guitars build, giving it a more grown up feel than some of their earlier love songs.

The chorus starts with two raspy yelps of "woahh", before Tom and Danny croon rather sweetly about the nature of unconditional love in a song that has all the makings of a Christmas hit.

The single, which has no official release date yet, is expected to be on the shelves on the back of the band's Greatest Hits album, out on November 5.
