The Cribs come to Kate Nash's rescue!

Cribs singer Ryan Jarman threw an empty pintglass in the direction of a lewd heckler at a Kate Nash gig earlier this week to defend her honour.

The 20-year-old singer, who plays two shows in New York later this month, was performing 'Little Red' at the Xfm party in Camden on Monday when a crowd member shouted: "Get your muff out!"

Kate responded with a quick 'boo' to the heckler and played on while Ryan, who is romantically linked with the singer, chucked the empty glass at the offending man, but missed.

Meanwhile, Kate's number one album 'Made Of Bricks' is reported to be getting a US release at the start of next year.
