Lily pines for a pup!

Lily Allen has said that she'd like a new dog for each gig she does.

The singer, who's been applauded by Amy Winehouse for her recent rant about the NME Cool List being sexist, said that she'd like a new pup to accompany her on tour.

The 21-year-old star has even joked on her online diary that she wants the pooch for Christmas, but would probably get bored of it within days.

"I'm thinking of adding a dog to the rider," said Lily.

"Every town I play, I get a puppy for the night."
