A Brief History of Noah and the Whale

The curiously named Noah And The Whale (it's an arty film reference apparently) hail from Twickenham, where they do the rugby.

The four boys (Charlie, Urby, Doug and Tom) are also joined by singer songwriter sensation Laura Marling whenever they need a girly vocal.

The band released their debut single, '5 Year's Time', back in 2007 but no one bought it. However, it's thankfully proved a massive hit second time round, and precedes their album, 'Peaceful The World Lays Me Down'.
