Yes sorry, I was finishing off some Super Noodles. I'm a big fan of super noodles because they just seem healthier than Pot Noodles, although there is a feeling of luxury with a Pot Noodle because you don't need to mess around with a plate.

What sort of person isn't going to like Elliot Minor?
The type of person who has to put music into a category and says that they have to like one type of music and hate another. We hate being put into a category, it would be cool to do a really commercial pop song and then follow it up with a really dark metal track to really shake things up. It's really hard to do that these days because people want you to stick to one sound, to be one sort of band.

What happened to plans of pursuing a career as a classical musician?
I was in a string quartet when I was younger, Ed (our guitarist) just introduced me to the rock stuff just before he went to secondary school and we just started jamming together and playing as an acoustic duo. There was a lot of hype at the time around Green Day, Blink 182 and other pop punk but we had just started getting into more English punk bands like Muse.

Are you just a gothic Busted?
Charlie from Busted used to go to our school so at the time they were considered idols when we were growing up. Back in the day we had the same sort of influences he did too, and Busted had some cool songs. I like it, there's nothing bad about being compared to Busted.

What’s going on in the spooky new video?
The song is about an ex-girlfriend but it's also tied in with loads of thematic stuff about witches. The idea of the video is that I'm getting possessed and Ed is trying to find me to warn me about 'The White One', who is the witch in question.

Is that the girl with the horse’s head?
I don't think The White One is actually in the video. There was a ballet dancer in the video dancing by a lamppost – that was freaky. We just wanted to get weird abnormal shots into the video.

Are you not just copying everything that Panic! At The Disco have done with their style?
We just like dressing up and playing with a darker image to try and get some sort of mystery into thing although we might change it with future songs. 'The White One' is a dark Elliot Minor song and our next single is a bit more chilled, so we might brighten things up a little bit, just theme it out for the mood of the song.

Perhaps dress up as sunflowers?
Yeah. Maybe.
