Sex Pistols to headline Isle Of Wight 2008

You will have already heard the amazing news that The Police are to headline next summer's Isle of Wight Festival, but now get ready to tell people not to 'stand so close to you' (boom boom), because there is sure to be moshing as Sting and pals are joined at the festival by punk legends the Sex Pistols.

While The Police headline the festival finale on the Sunday, the icons of punk will take pole position on Saturday June 14. So get those 18-hole boots dusted off and get your tickets sorted.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place June 13 to 15 at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight
