Hello Fergie!
Hello Slashmusic!
Where are you right now?
I’m in London at the moment – I'm mid-nap actually! – we’re on tour, and we’re doing our second show at Hammersmith tonight which should be interesting. Last night was really good, a lot of amazing things happened, the energy was really nice and everyone was communicating.
Bless. Did you have a favourite moment?
I actually like the end when we’re standing out there. Usually we bow, but it was taking a little long and I went to Will, ‘Shall we answer some questions?’ so we started taking some questions from the audience. I couldn't really hear them though, I think it was something about the after party.
Clearly they just wanted free drinks. So, we heard your favourite film ever is 'The Exorcist'. Does it still upset you?
It does, yeah.
The film had a serious effect on the actor, Linda Blair. Do you think if you had a daughter you’d allow her to be in a film like The Exorcist?
I don’t know. Has it really had an effect on her? I’m not really into the idea of children yet, so…
We won't sign them up just yet then. Now, we're really into hypnotherapy this week. What would you be hypnotheraperilised for?
To stop me biting my nails for one. I'm not quite over that yet. I have to go back every once in a while, you have to keep going. I’ve gotten better.
Do you bite them below the quick?
Oh God, I don’t want to hear about that!
That's the worst…
Stop it!
Anyway, what do you think of Kate Moss? Was it a good thing or a bad thing that she got rid of Pete?
That’s up to her. Personally, I can’t be with someone who was on drugs, because I’ve done drugs in the past and I can’t be around that environment for me, health-wise. But you know, I don’t judge other people. I think that Kate Moss is a great person, and I’m sure he is too. I have no idea about their relationship, I’m not there. All I do is read about it, and from where I’ve read, they’re not always right, so I don’t know how to judge that. It’s her life. I support Kate.
Can you explain what gives you 'the hump'?
Not as much as many people. I just have a cute little hump and I work it the best I can, and there are a lot of girls who have a better one, and this is going out to all those girls who have curves. I just work what I got. Cute little booty and I just work it. [?!?!?!?!??? – Ed]
Er, right. So would Black Eyed Peas ever do a really violent rap song about shooting people in the wotsits for a laugh?
Well, if I did it would be in jest because I’ve never shot anybody. A lot of people say they have but I don’t know if they have or whatever. I think NWA probably have shot a few people but to me listening to it is like listening to art, it’s telling me something that I didn’t know. I think there’s a beauty in that. You don’t have to become it.
Hmm, indeed. But let's get to the point: we had a poll for the most shocking moment of the year, and people said the moment when you apparently weed yourself on stage. Did that actually happen?
I’m not talking about that.
Is that a denial?
I choose not to speak about that.
So you did then.
I choose not to speak about that.
Will you be endorsing Tena Lady any time soon?
*Click!* Brrrrrrrr.........
We'll take that as a no then. Thank you Fergie!
[Ghostly voice] No, thank you, Slashmusic!
