
Beth Orton
The famous singer-songwriter, six feet tall and originally from Norfolk, started out as an actress before releasing her first album, Superpinkymandy, solely in Japan.
In her early music career, she collaborated with The Chemical Brothers, William Orbit and Beck, then released her worldwide debut, Trailer Park in 1996. Central Reversation and Daybreaker followed, and in 2003 she sung to a packed audience in the Royal Albert Hall. She released her fourth album, Comfort of Strangers, in Feb 2006.
She is a well-known sufferer from Crohn's Disease which she claims she manages by monitoring her diet strictly.
