David Starkey

David Starkey has contributed articles and written columns for various newspapers and magazines including the Sunday Times and Spectator.

He has been a regular panelist on the BBC Radio 4 programme The Moral Maze and been described "...the rudest man in Britain" by the Daily Mail.

From 1972 to 1998 he was a lecturer in history in the Department of International History at the London School of Economics, but gave this up in 1988 to concentrate on his other work.

He has written and presented several television series, including Monarchy for Channel 4.
