Assistant Editor of the Times. For four years, co-presented the highly acclaimed politics show Sunday Service on Radio 5 and is now the regular political commentator on LBC.

Dominic Lawson (Tues 28 March)

One of the longest serving editors on Fleet Street. Edited The Sunday Telegraph for 10 years. Broke the 2004 David Blunkett 'Nannygate' scandal. Has also worked for The Financial Times and The Spectator.

Howard Jacobson

Howard Jacobson (Tues 28 March)

Novelist and broadcaster. Writes for the Independent. His 1999 autobiographical novel The Mighty Walzer, about a teenage ping-pong whiz, won the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for best comic novel of the year.

Natalie Haynes

Natalie Haynes (Tues 28 March)

Perrier Award-nominated comedian with an IQ of 155, which places her in the top 1 per cent of the population. Has been described by Julie Burchill as the most exciting thing since Morrissey.

John O'Farrell

John O'Farrell (Wed 29 March)

Author. Books include The Best a Man Can Get. Began his career as an MP’s researcher before becoming a satirical comedy writer for radio and TV. He was a Guardian columnist for 5 years, and is an occasional joke writer for Gordon Brown and Tony Blair.

Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts (Wed 29 March)

Acclaimed Conservative Historian who describes himself as a 'reactionary Tory'. His books include Hitler and Churchill: Secrets of Leadership and Waterloo : June 18, 1815 : The Battle. Writes regularly for the Sunday Telegraph.

Zoe Williams

Columnist for the Guardian.

Phil Hammond

Phil Hammond (Thurs 30 March)

Doctor, writer, broadcaster and comedian. Medical correspondent for Private Eye. Has toured the UK with his hit show 89 Minutes to Save the NHS, and co-written a BBC sitcom, Doctors and Nurses. A regular on The News Quiz and Have I Got News For You.

Matthew Parris

Award winning journalist and author. Was a Conservative MP 1979-86. Has a weekly column in the Times and writes for The Spectator. Has published many books on travel and politics, and an autobiography, Chance Witness.

Marina Hyde

Marina Hyde (Thurs 30 March)

Columnist for the Guardian, where she writes about politics, sport and the world of celebrities. She started her career in journalism as a secretary on the Sun's showbiz desk, and until recently she wrote the Guardian's Diary column.
