The oldest professional association of hypnotherapists in the UK and hypnotist John Butler has recently provided training to their members in hypnotic pain control. John Butler writes, "Most hypnotherapy trainings concentrate mostly on therapy for emotional and behavioural problems, so there may in fact be very few people who can provide this specialised application of hypnosis - hopefully this will change in the future".
