A one-off blockbuster celebrating the greatest acting talent from the world of the movies, as voted by fellow actors.

The extravaganza counts down the results of a comprehensive search to uncover the 50 most influential, inspiring and important actors and actresses of all time, based on poll results canvassed from the acting community on both sides of the Atlantic, and ultimately revealing the star who has been officially voted The World's Greatest Actor.

This one-off documentary features interviews with a broad range of stage, TV and, of course, big-screen actors, from both US and UK television – from Oscar winners to stage stalwarts to emerging new talents – including: Jon Voight, Dennis Hopper, Burt Reynolds, Robert Wagner, Patrick Stewart, Angie Dickinson, Tippi Hedren, Jacqueline Bisset, Whoopi Goldberg, Brian Cox, Steven Berkoff, Hugo Speer, Nina Sosanya, David Oyelowo, Kelly Reilly, Alison Steadman, Martin Kemp, Phil Daniels and Elliot Gould.
