Yes, any macro region can be made interactive and carry the red button on these ads.

Q. How many people can potentially view my interactive advert?
A.
At the moment interactive adverts can only be viewed in Sky digital homes, around 18.5 million individuals, (over 8 million households).

Q. What kind of response rate can I expect?
A.
Response rates are based on a number of different factors: What the call to action / trigger is; Campaign budget / How much airtime you have; Which channels you are on; Which audiences you have bought; What the product / service is. . .

Q. Will Freeview homes be able to view interactive adverts?
A.
This is currently possible; however it is limited due to the lack of return path on the Freeview box, which limits the level of interactivity available.


Mobile
Q. Does the mobile interactive service only work on 3G phones?
A.
No, this service works on all 2.5g phones and above.

Q. Does my mobile phone need to be WAP enabled for this service to work?
A.
It depends – In order to access video content you would need to have a WAP enabled phone. However, some of the simpler campaigns do not require your mobile phone to be WAP enabled.

Q. What networks does this service work on?
A.
You can interact with our mobile phone advertising service whichever network you are currently with.

Q. Which media can I put the short code / keyword on?
A.
You can put the short code and keyword on your linear television adverts, press, outdoor and even mention it on your radio commercials.

Q. What is the Mobile Internet / WAP?
A.
WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a feature which allows mobile phone users to access services and information from the internet. It is now often referred to as the Mobile Internet.

Q. Is the Mobile Internet the same as the web on a PC?
A.
The mobile internet is not the same as browsing the web on a PC. This is because WAP can only be used to access sites which have been specially designed for the small mobile phone screen.

Q. What are the costs involved in WAP?
A.
The charges for using GPRS to access WAP services will depend on your chosen price plan. Some WAP usage might be included with your price plan – it is advisable to check your price plan for details.
