Kris discovers that there is no reason for this traffic congestion. The council has built park and ride facilities, there is a congestion zone and there are cycle and bus lanes to encourage people out of their cars. But apathy has gripped the people of Durham. The traffic appears to be single individuals going to work, clogging the roads and leaving the car share lane empty. Changing the attitude of the drivers is going to be a big problem for Kris. |
