Is the Earth really warming up? And are we to blame?

According to the science, there has been an unprecedented rise in greenhouse gases over a very short period of time. And, as a consequence, there has already been a large change in temperature - but we haven’t yet seen that large changes in temperature that we are going to see over the next 100 yrs.

Over past 150 years there’s been a 0.7C rise in global average temperatures – but over the next 100 years rises could be much, much larger.

Is all down to us and our behaviour? Climate change science uses climate models to predict future climate variations against past climate data. They also use models that account for natural forces like solar activity and volcanic eruptions. But scientists can’t reproduce the observed change in temperture – the only way they can make them work is if they include man-made greenhouse gases into the mix.
